Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

In the Gray Lab, we aim to provide safe equitable space with opportunities that are inclusive to all people, including those from underrepresented groups, regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status/background, physical or mental difference, religion, age, or national origin. Intolerance, racism, bigotry, and sexism will not be tolerated. My work towards DEI dates back to 2012, most recently in co-founding and serving as past co-chair of the SETAC North America (SNA) Inclusive Diversity Committee. One goal of mine as a PI is to foster a new generation of scientists who value diversity in all aspects of life, not just in a scientific context.
